Shelter Rentals

The City parks feature five shelters that are available to the public for rental from May through September each year. The rental fee is $55.00 per shelter per day and is required at the time of the reservation. The City does not accept reservations for the gazebos.

A $25.00 deposit is required at the time the key(s) are picked up. The deposit fee will be returned if the shelter(s) are cleaned, and not damaged and the key is returned.

Reservations must be made in person at City Hall Monday-Friday 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM excluding holidays. Access to the shelter is available to you on your reservation date from 5:00 AM to 11:00 PM. The City will accept reservations two years in advance. Civic and church organizations are exempt from this requirement and will be able to reserve a shelter on a continual basis. Reservation dates may be changed no more than three times before forfeiting reservation fee. Changes must be made in writing, in person, at City Hall.

Reservation rental fee is non-refundable.

In addition to the rental fee a deposit fee of $25.00 (cash or check) per shelter; is required at the time the key(s) are picked up; either the day before the event or the Friday before a weekend event.

If you forget to pick up the key during normal business hours, you will need to contact the Public Works on call phone at 715-965-0478. Arrangements will be made to pick the key up and a minimum of two hours overtime pay rate to be charged to you for their time.

Keys must be returned the next business day.

When not in use all padlocks should be placed in the locked position on the overhead doors. Replacement cost for lost or missing padlocks/keys is the responsibility of the party reserving the shelter. Costs: Padlock - $20.00, Key - $5.00.

It is the responsibility of the party reserving the shelter(s) to cleanup the area and return picnic tables and garbage cans to the inside of the shelter at the close of their event. Tied trash bags should be placed in the dumpster located near the shelter(s).
