Audits & Budgets


The City of Medford fiscal year is from January 1st to December 31st. After each year end an outside auditor assesses the books and financials and compiles an audited financial report.


Every fall Department Heads with the City of Medford meet to go over the budgeting amounts for the upcoming year. Budgets are submitted to the Finance Department and then sent to Common Council for review by Council and the public. Upon Council approval the Budgets are then adopted for the year.
