Winter Parking

City of Medford Parking Regulations

The public is reminded of Chapter 7.3.02 of the City of Medford Code of Ordinances relative to parking motor vehicles which is as follows:

§7.3.02 LIMITED PARKING

(A)   No person or motor vehicle owner shall park or permit a motor vehicle to be parked adjacent to a curb painted yellow on any street within the City.

(B)   No person or motor vehicle owner shall park or permit a motor vehicle to be parked on any public street within the City between the hours of 1:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. between the dates of November 1 and April 1 of any year. (Winter Parking – Parking is regulated regardless of weather conditions during this period. It does not have to be snowing to be enforceable.)

(C)   Any motor vehicle parked in violation of this section shall at the direction of a police officer be towed away and stored at the owner's expense if such vehicle inhibits snow removal in any manner or blocks a private or public driveway.

REMINDER: Winter parking offenses are $25.00 if paid within five calendar days.  If payment is not made after five calendar days, a citation with a court date and further costs will be issued.
