Budget Payment Plan
A budget payment plan allows a residential customer, who has been on Medford Utilities for at least 6 months, to average annual utility billings into even monthly payments.
Budget payments are calculated based on the estimated consumption and rates for the budget year.
Applicable sales taxes, when required, are billed as they are incurred each month.
Budget payment amounts have frequent review and, if necessary, adjusted in order to reflect actual consumption.
Adjustments are made with the objective that the customer's under/over billed balance at the end of the budget year shall be less than one month's budget amount.
