Vehicle Registration

Registering your vehicle can be a complex matter. That is why the Medford Police Department is proud to assist you with any vehicle registration questions or problems. Listed below are the services and the fees that are charged.

Please contact Sarah Serrano at 748-1447, Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00am and 4:00pm. Appointments are appreciated. You may also stop in at City Hall for vehicle registrations, Monday - Friday 8:00am to 4:00pm.

Re-new plates: $16.25 (See the registration amount below)
Transfer Title: $38.00
Replacement stickers: Free. Must provide verification of registration

Vehicle Title: $164.50

Vehicle Registration Costs

Autos: $85.00

Trucks:
*4500 lb $100.00
*6000 lb $100.00
*8000 lb $106.00

Motorcycles: 2 year registration period, $23.00

Snowmobile and A.T.V.’s Registration assistance available at Online Registration

Bicycles: Free

The Wisconsin D.O.T charges a late fee of $10.00 on all expired vehicle registrations
