A vehicle that has been issued a salvage title, and has been repaired to meet safety standards for use on public highways, $80.00 fee.

Homemade

Any vehicle assembled from new or used parts or both using body and frame not originating from nay previously manufactured motor vehicle. No inspection fees.

Hobbyist Reconstructed

Motor vehicle assembled from a vehicle manufactured 20 years or more prior to time of this application, and which has been substantially altered or modified from original manufacturer’s specifications. No inspection fee.

Reconstructed

Motor vehicle, any age, substantially altered/modified from original manufacturer specifications. No inspection fee.

Any vehicle assembled from new or used parts or both using body and frame not originating from any previously manufactured motor vehicle. No inspection fees.

To schedule an inspection person may call and set up time and date with Officer. Inspection will be completed on a hoist determined by inspector. Person will need ID, agent assignment if not owner, MV-1, Wisconsin title, MV-4060, four pictures of vehicle damage (Salvage inspection), check or money order, envelope with correct postage.
